Panasonic’s Link2Cell Helps Spotty Cell Coverage at Home #SavedCall
Ever leave your cell phone in the kitchen because that is where the best reception is, but you are in the bedroom getting dressed and it rings? You know that moment when you think, should I streak through the house to get the phone or let it ring. If you had the Panasonic Link2Cell phone (KX-TG7742S), you could answer your call in the bedroom (while the cell phone is still in the kitchen.) Disclosure: I received the Link2Cell phone in exchange for this post.
What is a Panasonic Link2Cell Phone?
The Panasonic Link2Cell phone is simple. While at home, keep your cell phone in the spot with the best reception and answer it from any spot in your house because you connect it via Bluetooth to your Link2Cell phone. I find the bathrooms and basement in our house have very spotty coverage and I have to run upstairs to talk when my cell rings.
The Link2Cell is a cordless phone and you can have up to 4 more handsets so you can have a phone on every floor, in the bedroom and even the garage.
Connecting your cell phone to the Link2Cell is very easy if you follow the directions that come with the phone. It took me about 10 minutes to get the Panasonic phone out of the box, plugged in and connected to my cell phone.
If you have a landline, you can also connect the Panasonic phone to your landline so you can answer both your cell phone and home phone from the same handset.
How the Link2Cell Saved a Call for Me
You know that hypothetical situation I mentioned above? Well, it really happened to me, BUT I had put my Panasonic Link2Cell phone in my bedroom.
My cell phone was on the charger in the kitchen. I was in the bathroom (where I have no cell reception) having just taken a shower and still in my towel. I heard the Link2Cell call say, “L*** County Schools” which means it is a call from one of my kids’ schools (yes, it even speaks the caller id so you don’t have to run to read it.)
Instead of dashing through the house and risk breaking my neck running while wet on the wood floor, I slowly walked into my bedroom and took the handset off the charger and answered the phone. Fortunately, it was not an emergency.
