My First Trip to Hawaii
Oh! how I wish I was there! Have an awesome time and happy, happy birthday.
I found paradise in Hawaii. I have been here for 2 days and I love it. The weather is awesome. The view is even better. And the best thing? I get great beach hair. I love the way my hair dries when I am outside on the beach. I get a great natural highlight treatment.
I’m not going to be blogging much, but I will upload some pictures every few days.

Raining today while the sun was shining. Gorgeous.
On Monday I will be turning 43 and Jason and I are going to walk up Diamond head just because. I think it’s an awesome way to remember my 43rd birthday.
Have you ever been to Hawaii? This is my first time. What should I not miss?

OOPs, sent that last msg without proofing it. Snorkle not snookle and a few others messups…..Have fun, is the real msg.
Michele, make sure you and Jason get some rubber water shoes to wade into Hahnamua Bay (SP) and snookle to see all the colorful fish, take a can of peas with and put a few in your hand they will nibble right from it and gather themselves all around you. We used to take them in a little ziplock baggie. When Aunt Kathi came we took her there and we couldn’t get her out of the water, she enjoyed the fish so much. It’s a long walk down the steps to the beach, but worth it. I hope it is still pristine and the shoes are to keep from cutting your toes on the lava. There is sand there, but be careful where you walk. You can rent snookle stuff from the hut an go out and float and see more over the coral, just don’t stand up on it. It damages it and dies, and you can’t take any with you either. I think they have a list of don’t there posted. Have fun enjoy every moment. We loved it. The evening walks along Waikiki beach and listing to the music from all the different hotel bars was so relaxing and wonderful, stop at an outdoor table and have a cool one, while you enjoy the Hawaiian music. They have beautiful voices and it adds to ambiance of the trip. You won’t want to leave, if you find a great condo, it’s a good investment for future trips. Have fun, I envy the two of you, but truly enjoy! Mom
It looks like you are having a fabulous time while your husband is working! 🙂 We’ve most recently been to Kauai and The Big Island and although I haven’t been to Waikiki in a long time, you must get Hawaiian Shave Ice while you are there with a scoop of macadamia nut ice cream inside. Have a great time celebrating your birthday with your walk up Diamond Head! Can’t wait to see your photos from the top!
