I received the Oral-B PRO 7000 SmartSeries electric toothbrush with Bluetooth connectivity to test out for this review. I’ll be honest, my first thought was, “Why do I need to track my daily toothbrushing habits?”

Once I connected the toothbrush to the app and began brushing, I realized that I do NOT brush for two minutes. I always thought that I was brushing for at least 2 minutes, until I watched the timer. I was also brushing too hard which my dentist has been telling me for years, but I didn’t realize how softly I needed to brush.

The timer on the app is split into four quads, so I divide my mouth into top left, top right, bottom left and bottom right and every 30 seconds, I move to the next section. After the 2 minutes are up, you are reminded to brush your tongue, floss and use a rinse.

I’ve had the toothbrush for a few days, so I don’t have a lot of information to look at yet, but I can see how having these stats will improve my own daily toothbrushing habits.

This weekend I am at a dance competition with my girls and I brought my new toothbrush.
