Worrying and Today’s Peace

Worrying doesn't take away tomorrow's troubles. It takes away today's peace.

Worrying doesn't take away tomorrow's troubles. It takes away today's peace.

This is such a good reminder. I’m a worrier! I will worry about anything and everything. I’ve had to learn that worrying doesn’t make the situation any better or worse. So I work out the worst scenario in my head and come up with a plan for that worst case.

Worrying doesn’t take away tomorrow’s troubles. It takes away today’s peace.

Then I put the worry in a box and put it aside. Any time I think about it again, I immediately think about my plan.

This quote really brought it all home for me. It’s so true because I end up worrying the day away instead of being present in the moment.

Are you a worrier? What do you do when the worrying takes over?

Let me know what you thought!!
