My Healthy Lifestyle
I live a healthy lifestyle because I want to be around for a few more years. I do it for me! Ok, I also life a healthy lifestyle because I have major digestive health issues and eating healthy foods keeps my stomach happy (in more ways than one.)
Why should YOU live a healthy lifestyle? You need to figure that one out for yourself. Sorry! I know, you wanted answers. I don’t have them (or I would be laying on a beach on my private island now.)
Living In Moderation
Throughout my life, I have tried to live my life in moderation. With anything, if done or eaten in moderation, it’s not bad. But when you go to excess, then it can be bad.
Take pizza. It’s got a lot of good stuff on it and if you have 2 slices for dinner…that’s is A-OK. But if you eat a whole pizza every night for the rest of your life, well, that isn’t so great.
I try to apply that philosophy to the way I live my life. Nobody wants to go through life never enjoying pizza or ice cream. Let’s admit it…they taste good!
Including the Marie Callender’s Under 500 frozen meals is one way I keep my healthy lifestyle in check. I am able to eat foods that I enjoy and they are in the correct portions and easy to prepare.
This week I enjoyed the Marie Callender’s Roasted Garlic Chicken from the #Under500 meals. It was really yummy. It took about 5 minutes from opening the package until I was eating the meal. I felt full after I ate it and it fit into my healthy lifestyle plan.
