Headphones For Running; Skullcandy FIX Earbuds
I have had a hard time finding headphones for running because most just keep falling out of my ears. I want to take off running and not have to keep pushing my earbuds back in my ear. I didn’t think it was possible, but the Skullycandy FIX earbuds DO stay in my ears when I’m running.
Skullcandy Sound
Not only are the Skullcandy earbuds the best headphones for running, but they also sound really good. I use the Skullcandy In-Ear Buds even when I’m not running because I like the sound I get.
I tried the Skullcandy FIX headphones in both the bud style seen in the blue/black above and the in-ear bud style shown in the red above. My personal preference was the in-ear bud style because I have small ears and I could change the size of the piece that goes into my ear.
Headphones For Running
I always run with my iPhone because it has all my music, my running apps and for safety, I have a phone with me. It would be really hard to answer the phone or make a call if I didn’t use the microphone style headphones for running.
The Skullcandy FIX earbuds also have a microphone. Another reason these are the best headphones for running. You can also change the volume and skip to the next song with the Skullcandy FIX earbuds.
For safety reasons, when I run outside, I only use 1 earbud (or have the sound very low) so that I can still hear cars and other noises. If I am running on a track with other people around, I will run with both earbuds in my ears.
The Skullcandy FIX Buds retail for $39.99 and come in 6 different colors. The Skullcandy FIX In-Ear Buds retail for $69.99 and come in 6 colors.
Disclosure: I received a pair of the Skullcandy FIX Buds and In-Ear Buds in exchange for this review. All opinions are 100% my own.

Thanks for sharing about these earbuds i was also thinking about to buy earuds which was not fall out of my ears while running .
i was wondering if theres a big difference in the bud and in ear like sound quality because one is significantly cheaper than the other
I do not notice a difference. I’m not sure offhand why the difference in price, but I will see if I can find out.
These look like something I could make use of. I always associated skull candy with massive inpractical headphones in the past for some reason!
Hi Michelle, these look like the perfect solution for me to use in the Gym. I have used bud style before but wasn’t that impressed, where as the in-ear bud style look like they’ll do the job of keeping the earpieces in place.
I always enjoy listening to music that’s why I have so many earphone/headphone collection at home. What I like with this earphone is that it can stay in place no matter what. Much better compared to any other earphones/headphones I’m currently using right now. I’ll get one of this for sure.
I’ll have to try these.. When I try to use ear buds in the gym, the constantly fall out. I end up pushing them too far in, then my ear cartilage aches all day 😉
YES! Hate that! Let me know how you like them.
Those look great! Not 10 minutes ago I was thinking I needed to get new earbuds specifically for running! Thanks 🙂 I will definitely go look at these
Awesome timing!!
