Celebrating My Half Marathon With Running Gadget @DCMobility #ATTRun
On Sunday, my daughter and I will be running the Virginia Beach Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon. It will be my second and Sami’s (15 yrs old) first. To celebrate, AT&T in DC, @DCMobility, is offering my readers a running (or any sport) gadget giveaway. (This is a sponsored post.)
We have stuck with our training and we are ready. Last Sunday, we ran 11 miles which was the longest we’ll run until the race. We made it. Our goal is to finish. We’d love to finish under 3 hours, but if we finish, we’ll be happy.
Training for Half Marathon in DC
In June, we ran 5 miles in downtown DC. We stopped along the way to take photos at a few famous spots.
Since this post is sponsored by AT&T’s @DCMobility, I thought it was perfect to share our DC running photos.
And last, but not least, with the Washington Memorial behind us.
We started training earlier in the year and ran a 5k in February when it was bitter cold.
So now we’ll be running our 13.1 miles in the heat. I ran the same half marathon 3 years ago and I love it because you finish on the beach.
I’m so proud of my daughter. She set a goal and is about to achieve it. What are your running goals? The running gadgets in this giveaway will help you meet your running (or fitness) goals.

My current running goal is to just be able to run lol. I just had a baby a ear ago and it’s not coming off as fast as I want it to…I am power walking and sometimes I jog but I want to start jogging and running all the time… I’ve been wanting a fitbit for about a month now bc I think it would really help me see what I’m doing! Thanks!
I’m running 2 marathons this fall, a week apart. Hoping for a quick recovery after the first. I am also trying to get my kids back into running after a summer of baseball.
my current running goal is to do a 5K without any walking!
I don’t actually run because it hurts my knees, but I’ve been exercising on an elliptical machine. My goal on the elliptical is to hit 4 miles in 45 minutes. Right now I’m at 3.5miles in that timeframe.
My husband is a marathon runner and happy to say he is my trainer. I just started last month. My goal is three miles. However, I am struggling in this summer Texas heat. 😉
Congrats on winning! Good Luck with your goal of 3 miles. The heat is a killer. It was so humid during our half marathon, so it was tough. I prefer running in the Fall!

I would love to run a 5K!
My husband has me training for a half marathon

I’m just starting so my goal is to do a mile without stopping once.
My Goal Is To Get Into Shape So I Can Eventually Enjoy Running.
I just signed up for my first 5K, so my personal running goal is to jog it without stopping! The last time I ran (more than a few blocks or so trying to catch the bus) was in high school. I am now 27, so it’s been a while!
