We have been waiting for the Les Misérables movie to be released. My son was in Les Misérables in drama 2 years ago and it is one of his favorite. He is also a huge movie buff, so he has been counting down the days.

Les Misérables is a beautiful story which takes place in 19th-century France. IT is the world’s longest-running musical and has been seen by more than 60 million people in 42 countries and in 21 languages.

The interesting thing about this movie is that the actors sang live while they were filming. Usually they add their voice in later in the studio. They brought in a piano and the actors heard the piano via an ear piece. The orchestra was added later. This gave the actors more freedom to act and sing as they feel right for the moment.

Les Misérables comes out on December 25th and stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crow, Anne Hathaway and is directed by Tom Hooper. This is a must see movie!
