My Eating On The Go Personal Stories #Spon
Eating on the go seems to be the norm for me lately. I’m either working or helping someone with some thing and the last thing on my mind is food. Well, I should rephrase that…I think about food all the time, but not about cooking it or preparing it, just eating it. We all have our own eating on the go personal stories I’m sure.
Typical Busy Day
A typical day for me starts with a busy 2 hours getting kids off to school and I eat breakfast. Then I work, work, work until the kids come home and the homework and soccer and dance and volleyball and drama and then I cook dinner and more kid’s stuff, work and then to bed.
It is usually during one of those extracurricular activity trips that I realize I didn’t eat lunch and I’m starved. Now what? I usually scrounge for something to eat in the car or pick up something quick. Sometimes I’ll even grab a candy bar and chips. Not the best meal!
Why Eating On The Go?
I realize I’m hungry earlier in the day and I would have to stop working, fix lunch, eat lunch, clean it up and then get back to work. I need a solution that is easy to make that tastes good and won’t use all of my 1500 calories I’m allowed each day.
Eating On The Go Solution
When the opportunity came up to try the Marie Callender’s #Under500 meals, I jumped at it. I knew it could be the solution to my eating on the go woes.
For my first Marie Callender’s eating on the go experiment, I tried the Fresh Flavor Steamers Smoky Cheddar Mac & Uncured Bacon. Sound like grown up mac ‘n cheese to me.
Let’s see if the Marie Callender’s Under 500 meal is my solution to eating on the go …
- Easy to Make? Yep, it sure was. I didn’t even have to poke a hole in it. I just popped it in the microwave.
- Fit into my daily calories? Yep, at 380 calories, this meal fits perfectly for lunch.
- Tastes Good? Yes, it tastes really good!! A great spin on the classic mac ‘n cheese meal.
