Better For BlogHer, Week 1 Wrap Up
I completed one full week of replacing one meal each day with a Healthy Choice meal on the Better for BlogHer challenge.
Confession
I have to confess that on Sunday it was my husband’s birthday and we were out and about and I didn’t have a Healthy Choice meal for lunch that day because we weren’t home at all. I opted for Subway instead because I didn’t want to really blow it (although the ice cream cake after dinner probably blew it for me).
Back on Track
But it was right back on track today. I am starting the 6 week challenge on the EA SPORTS Active More Workouts Wii fitness game and along with my 1/2 marathon training, I’m getting active, eating right and I will be Better for BlogHer.
Seeing Changes
The biggest change I’ve noticed is my energy level. I’m not getting as tired in the mid-afternoon as I was when I was not eating a healthy lunch. I’m also not hungry in between my meals and snacks. I’m eating 3 meals with 2 snacks and that is enough for me.
My absolute favorite Healthy Choice meal so far is the Chicken Parmigiana. I could eat it for every meal.
