Aerobie Pro Flying Ring For a Fun Workout

I’ll admit when I first saw the Aerobie Pro Flying Ring, I thought, “I’m never going to be able to catch that thing because I can’t catch a frisbee.” But I was wrong. I’m not saying I’m a pro at it, but I caught it many more times than I ever caught a frisbee.
The Aerobie Pro
looks like a huge frisbee with the center taken out, but it has rubber edges to make it easier to catch. I received the 13″ Aerobie Pro Ring which I was told is for adults. My kids and I went out and played with it for about 15 minutes and it was fun. My kids had more fun trying to throw it on top of the roof (and only because they can…remember they are kids!)
It’s definitely a lot of fun and is another option as a fun activity for the family, but be sure to get the 10 inch Aerobie Sprint Ring if you have younger kids. My 9 year old had no problems with the larger size and my 7 year daughter did pretty good with the 13 inch, but probably would have preferred a smaller ring. 
It would be fun to have 2 Aerobie rings and have contests to see who can throw it the farthest. We will definitely throw this ring into the car and use it the next time we are at the park (so we can really see how far it goes.)

I just had to come back to this post we have just got a husky puppy and I dug out the frisbee and she loves it they have so much energy and why I am out walking her this keeps her happy for ages and uses up her energy as well. Just thought I would share that with you.

Hi Michelle after leaving my other comment I went and got a frisbee while I was still thinking about it. Didn’t get my dad out he was at work but managed to get my sister out and we had a really great laugh with it. While reminiscing about our childhood at the same time.

Hi Michele my sister and me used to love playing with frisbees when we were kids. Definatly going to have to get one. Like you say it can be a great family activity. Will even try to get my dad out. Will just make sure I throw it a bit further away so he has to run a bit further. He needs the exercise,

Great idea to get your Dad out there with the Aerobie. It’s such a great way to exercise without feeling like you are exercising.
