Do you have pains that stop you from getting through your day? As a runner and a mom of 4 kids, I am constantly running around. Getting a headache and spending hours on the couch is not an option for me.
So what do I do? Let me explain.
Running Hurts
I start out many days with a run. I love to run in the morning when it’s still cool out and it gets my body moving first thing. But with the running often comes pains. I don’t want to think about that pain all day, so I’ll take a fast acting Advil®.
I want something that will go to work in minutes. I’ll take one Advil®, jump in the shower and by the time I’m done with my shower, I feel better.
Headaches Suck
I’m also prone to headaches. I don’t get migraines, but since I was a kid, I get stress headaches and they come on fast and furious. I can’t have the headache slowing me down. I don’t even want to think about the headache.
So I take an Advil® which is designed to be absorbed by the body quickly and take care of my headache. Headache gone and I don’t think about it the rest of the day.
I prefer taking the Advil® because it’s fast acting and has a film-coating which for me means it will be easier for me to swallow. No other pain reliever has been proven to work faster than the Advil® Film-Coated.
To be able to continue working and picking up kids, running, making dinner and everything else I do in a day, I need to know that the pain reliever I take will work quickly.

I am prone to headaches also. I used to take advil or ibuprofen for headaches but now just eating cinnamon and it helps. I am adding one teaspoon of cinnamon to my brewing coffee every morning. I have noticed less headaches. It will not work when I have a full blown headache already but it can prevent them.
