Complete A 7 Minute Workout With the #WahooTICKRX #Wahoo7minApp #spon
This is a Wahoo sponsored post.
Do you have 7 minutes to workout? I bet you could find 7 minutes in your day to add a workout. The Wahoo Tickr X (affiliate link) is a heart rate monitor chest strap which connects with your smart phone to help you fit a 7 minute workout plan into your day in the easiest way possible.
All you need is the Wahoo Tickr X heart rate sensor chest strap and the Wahoo 7 Minute App (iOS, Android) and you can workout anywhere.
Getting Set Up For The 7 Min Workout
It’s very easy to get started. Here is what you do:
1. Put the Tickr X around your chest (it’s adjustable so it should fit just about anyone.)
2. You will need to download the app for either iOS or Android (links above.)
3. Connect your Tickr X to your 7 min workout app under settings. Be sure you have the Tickr X around your chest or it won’t connect.
4. Start working out. Click on each exercise to see a video demo so you are sure to do each exercise the right way. As you complete each exercise, the Tickr X will track the number of reps you are doing.
One seven minute exercise plan comes with the app, but for an extra fee, you can download an alternate workout, a Pilates 7 Minute plan and you can create your own 7 Minute Workout.
Now if that was the only thing the Tickr X did, I’d be happy, but it’s not. It does so much more.
Tickr X Workout Tracker Features
Device free workout tracker lets you can go for a run without your phone. Put the Tickr X on your chest and go run. That’s it. When you get back, you sync the workout tracker with your Wahoo Fitness app (iOS, Android) and see all your running stats.
Wahoo BURN and BURST programs are created by experts. It is an 8 week heart rate training program to help you burn fat and improve your performance.
See your stats as you are working out if you prefer the real-time method.
Treadmill mode for those winter runs when it’s too cold to go outside.
The running analytics are like nothing I’ve seen before including running smoothness, ground contact and running cadence.
Has both ANT+ and Bluetooth capabilities so it will connect with many 3rd party apps that you may be using. No need to switch to a new app.
Here is a quick video showing off the best features:

This has always been my biggest concern with chest straps. Normally I hate them because they are uncomfortable. This chest strap didn’t bother me. When you first open it and feel the strap, you’ll know why. It feels softer than most. It’s not scratchy at all. I had no problems with it staying in place too. The sensor is small enough that it didn’t bother me at all.
The Wahoo Tickr X is the only chest strap workout tracker I recommend. It’s the first and only one I like. It’s comfortable, can be used with or without my smart phone, tracks heart rate and workouts and comes with apps that compliment the device. I have tried several others, but I’ve never written about them until now because I finally found one I love.
There are absolutely no excuses with the Tickr X and the 7 Minute Workout app. It’s small enough to take with you when you travel and finding 7 minutes in your day should be easy.
Disclosure: I received the Tickr X for free in exchange for this review (I paid for my upgrade in the 7 Minute Workout app). All opinions are my own. Affiliate links marked within the post.
We’re you able to get the rep counts during Pilates? I found that only the first 7 minute plan connected to the device, but the other two didn’t. Wondering if there’s a trick to this.
