A few weeks ago, I was watching one of my favorite shows, Modern Family and they were driving in the Toyota Prius.
Baby On Board
In the Baby on Board episode of Modern Family, Mitch and Cam are looking to expand their family by adopting a second baby. They get a call that there is a baby for them so Mitch, Cam & Gloria get into the Prius and head to the hospital in California near Mexico. Gloria goes with them so she can translate for them since neither Mitch nor Cam speak Spanish.
It seems they had just bought a new bigger Toyota Prius because they were expanding their family. That has been the biggest reason we have never looked at buying a hybrid car. With a family of 4, we need a big car. It is nice to see that Toyota is thinking about families for the newer models of the Prius.

Prius in Modern Family
Modern Family shows how the Toyota Prius fits a family of 4 and since they didn’t have to stop for gas until the way home, I assume also gets good gas mileage. If you haven’t seen this episode of Modern Family, I embedded it below. I started it with the first scene with the Toyota Prius.

The Prius is now more affordable than ever when you buy used. If you are in the market for a hybrid you should look to purchase this used car from a rental agency coming off fleet and you will have big savings. Plus think of the savings you’re doing for the environment!
Yep, I have a friend who recently bought a Toyota Prius and last week he let me drive it! It really is a brilliant car to drive! I suggest everyone to at least test drive it, if not buy it!
