We went on vacation last week to Myrtle Beach. It was a sort-of vacation. My daughters had a national dance competition and we took the whole family because it was the beach. We also took our Chromebook to give it a vacation test. It did very well.
Ultimately, a good travel computer is one that will keep my kids occupied for hours during a long drive or flight. We didn’t fly this year, but the Acer Chromebook comes with 12 free Gogo Inflight passes which would be awesome for flying with kids.
My kids used the Chromebook to download all their favorite games and they played them for hours. They played Angry Birds and Hangman the most. During this vacation, we had a lot of down time. There is a lot of waiting that happens at dance competitions. Having a laptop I can rely on is a huge plus.
