Mophie Juice Pack Plus Gives Your iPhone 4 Double the Juice #Spon

Hate it when your iPhone 4 runs out of juice? Smartphones have become as much a necessity as a wallet, but when your smartphone’s battery dies, it’s like getting to the checkout and realizing you forgot your wallet. Mophie has a found a solution. This is another product I found at CES. I’ve been waiting for the Mophie to come out for the iPhone 4. This is a sponsored post. 

Mophie Is Stylish and Practical

I do not think that we should have to give up style and color for practicality. The colors of the Mophie make me happy! You get more battery life and a gorgeous case all in one.

The Mophie comes in two versions, the Mophie Juice Pack Air and the Mophie Juice Pack Plus. I reviewed the Mophie Juice Pack Plus for the iPhone 4 (AT&T) in magenta. The Mophie is also available for the iPhone 4 for Verizon and for the iPhone 3G and 3GS.

The Juice Pack Air will give you up to 6 additional hours of talk time on 3G and comes in 3 colors, red, black and white. The Juice Pack Plus will give you up to 8 additional hours of talk time on 3G and comes in 4 colors, black, cyan, magenta and yellow.

Mophie Juice Pack Plus the Case

The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the package was the material of the case. The band around the case not only adds a bit of stylish color, but is soft to the touch and makes the iPhone feel really good in my hand. The iPhone alone feels like it will slip right out of my hand, but with the Mophie case, it feels sturdy.

The case does not add a lot of weight to my iPhone. I can easily access all of the buttons and it adds protection to the camera on the back of phone. I find that I always put my finger on the back camera for some reason and it’s always dirty. The Mophie case solved that problem too. The Mophie does not cover the front of the iPhone 4. The edges of the Mophie are raised a bit higher than the surface of the iPhone. If you put the iPhone down on the table, the front of the iPhone will not touch the table. You are able to put your own clear screen on the iPhone and use the Mophie Juice Pack Plus.

Mophie Juice Pack Plus the Charger

The big question is, “how long does it extend your battery?” I let my iPhone get down to 10% and then I turned the Mophie on. There is an indicator at the bottom of the Mophie. Press the button and you know how much juice is left on the Mophie. It did charge my battery to 100%. I let my phone get down to 10% again and turned the Mophie on once more. It added about 5% to the iPhone and then the Mophie was out of juice. I am a power use of my iPhone. I have bluetooth on all the time, take a lot of pictures and movies. I took the Mophie with my to Blissdom and I was able to make it completely through one day on my iPhone battery and the Mophie Juice Pack Plus.

The Mophie website says that the Mophie Juice Pack Plus will more than double your iPhone 4 battery life, but they do explain that it will vary depending on your iPhone use. Getting about double for a power use is good.

In addition to the extra battery power, I love that I do not need to take the Mophie off of my iPhone to charge the Mophie or my phone or to sync with my computer. It comes with a USB cable for easy charging and syncing.

Bottom Line

I have been a fan of the Mophie since I bought it for my iPhone 3GS. They have streamlined the case and extended the battery life to make it an even better product. It’s a must have product if you own an iPhone.
