Travel with the ZTE Mobile Projector at Best Buy

Have you been in a hotel or a friend’s house and wished you had a portable projector with you? You know, so everyone could easily watch Netflix in HD on a 120 inch projector! I know I have.

When I saw that Best Buy offered the ZTE Projector, I was thrilled. Last weekend, we went to a dance competition in Baltimore. There were 5 of us in our hotel room and we wanted to watch Netflix. Fortunately, I had my mobile projector with me.

Before I tell you how we used it in the hotel room, I’ll share a few of my favorite features.

The ZTE SPRO2 Mobile Projector has a 5-in Android touchscreen to control the projector. You can also download an app on your smartphone and control the projector through the app.

There is a rechargeable battery that lasts about 2.5 hours (projection time) or you can use the power cord that is included.

The ZTE Pro has USB and HDMI connections, Micro SD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and access to Google Play through the Android interface. (Also has 16GB of internal storage.) Many different ways to access movies, TV shows or even games. Imagine showing off the photos from your last vacation on the projector. FUN!!!

Mobile Projector Fun

So, back to the hotel room. We wanted to watch some old episodes of Pretty Little Liars. I downloaded Netflix from Google Play on the Android interface. I started Pretty Little Liars and with three fingers, I pushed the image from the 5-inch screen on the projector to the wall.

Here we are watching TV on the wall. All 5 of us were comfortable in our bed and we could all see the screen (and we had no problems hearing the audio from the projector either.)

I didn’t get any photos of the fun we had with the projector. My daughter got up and as she stood in front of the projector, it looked like she was a shadow in the window. For the next hour, she added herself in the different scenes in the show and we had a blast with that. It was like shadow puppets gone high-tech.

We loved having the Android projector with us and our friends who were with us said they need one now too. It only weighs about 19 oz, so it’s easy to carry with you. It comes with a carrying case, so I just dropped it in my purse. It is definitely coming with us on ALL trips.
