How to Get It Done With Office 365 & SkyDrive #GetItDone #Spon
I am often ask how I Get It Done while running a business, volunteering in school, managing 4 kids, 4 animals and everything else thrown my way. My answer? I have a lot of help. No, I haven’t hired a staff, but instead I use Office 365 and SkyDrive so that I can #GetItDone anywhere. (This is a sponsored post and I received a copy of Office 365 & compensation from One2One Network.)
Would You Work More Hours?
Recently Harris Interactive, on behalf of Microsoft, conducted a study and 53% of office workers said they would be willing to work more hours to have more flexibility in where and when they got their work done.
In order to get it done, we need tools. Microsoft knows that we are no longer working 9 to 5 jobs where we go into the office and when we leave, our work stays at the office. Those lines have become blurred between home and office. Trying to find a good balance is difficult when trying to get it done.
Microsoft’s #GetItDone Contest
In honor of Get It Done day which was November 7, Microsoft is sponsoring a contest where you show Microsoft how you #GetItDone. You could win a trip to NYC, Park City, Utah or Austin City with a friend and get it done along the most accomplished athletes, filmmakers and musicians. Details and enter on the Microsoft Facebook contest page.
You can also win your own copy of Office 365 Home Premium download at the end of this post.
How I Get It Done
As a blogger, planning my posts and keeping track of deadlines is very important. I need access to my editorial calendar everywhere so I can get it done. I created my editorial calendar using Microsoft Excel and I store it in SkyDrive. You can download a blank editorial calendar template of the one I created to use in your business.
Now, when I am at my daughter’s dance class or the grocery store, I can get it done by accessing my editorial calendar from my phone using SkyDrive and Office 365 for Android.
If I am traveling, I can get it done with my editorial calendar on any Windows 8 device using SkyDrive and Office 365 in the cloud. If I do not have a device with me, I can use any computer and log into my SkyDrive and use the Office 365 web apps.
And of course, when I am at home in my office, I can get it done by accessing my editorial calendar through SkyDrive on my PC.
 Get It Done With OneNote
Be sure to read about how I get it done with OneNote to plan travel. It’s awesome being able to get access to all of your travel information and important documents from anywhere.

I don’t think I would work more hours. Sanity is important!
So interested to see how this might make my hectic world a bit more manageable!
This would make things SO much easier for writing. Not having to take my hard drive with me everywhere to work on things.
