My Golden Moment! First, I’m going to show you my Golden Moment and then I’ll tell you about it.
I never considered myself a runner even though I had run for a few years. Ok…I called myself a runner, but in my heart, I didn’t feel like a runner. On September 4, 2011, I became a runner in my heart.
When you cross a finish line after running 13.1 miles, you feel awesome. I trained for months physically and even longer in my head. I first had to wrap my head around the fact that I could even think about running a half marathon. Once I decided to run, I had to announce it to everyone, otherwise I might chicken out.
Without that support of my blog readers and online community, I know that I would never have crossed that finish line. Verizon FiOS keeps me connected to my online community of friends, all of whom I can’t imagine my life without.
My Golden Moment Repeat
I loved that Golden Moment so much….I decided to repeat it this year. On September 2, 2012, I will finish my 2nd half marathon. My only goal is to finish in 2 hours 59 minutes or less (notice all the 2’s).
Share Your Golden Moment Contest
I know I am not the only one with a Golden Moment, right? You have one, I know you do! Something you did that you never imaged you would or could do.
Share your Golden Moment on the Verizon FiOS Facebook app and win prizes which include a media package worth over $1500, 3D TV and many other prizes.
Go ahead…go…I’ll wait!
Before you go, I wanted to let you know about the new Verizon FiOS Quantum service. There are 3 tiers of service with download/upload speeds of 50/25, 75/35, 150/65 and 300/65 megabits per second (Mbps). (Not available in all areas. Check to see if it is available in your area.)
What does that mean for you?
- Power multiple devices and get the extra speed you need to stay fast.
- Faster downloads and streaming of your movies and TV shows.
- Virtually lag-free gaming
Disclosure: I was compensated for this post, however, I do have Verizon FiOS internet service which I pay for myself. All opinions are 100% my own.
