A Day Made of Glass Future is NOW
A few years ago I shared one of my favorite videos, A Day Made of Glass by Corning. Today, I spent about an hour watching a lot of the videos on the Corning YouTube channel. WOW!
A Day Made of Glass
This is my new favorite. It’s an updated version of the original video. It shows the day from the adult and kid’s views.
When I watch videos about the future of technology, I get so excited I can hardly stand it. This is what I live for! Seriously. I feel like Sheldon who was trying to prolong his life, so he didn’t want to leave the house.
You might think that companies like Corning sound kind of boring when talking about technology, but without glass that is tough to withstand weather, kids, constant touching and so much more, the future we envision isn’t possible.
So, now back to why I was so excited. I saw a new video series called, Inspired by Glass and started to watch that too.
Inspired by Glass: MemoMi Memory Mirror
This retail application of the glass came straight from the A Day Made of Glass video. Here is the MemoMi Memory Mirror in a Neiman Marcus store.
Wasn’t that exciting? Imagine going to the store and using that mirror. You can have all the dresses you tried on lined up on the screen so you can which one you like best on YOU!
I’m excited because it’s the first time I’ve seen something from the, A Day Made of Glass video used for real!!
After watching A Day Made of Glass, what are you most excited about in the future of technology?
I can’t choose what excited me most!
BTW, This is not a sponsored post. I wrote this because I was so excited after spending an hour watching videos from Corning and I had to share!
