artcircles app for ipadWhat do you think of when you see the word, “art“? Me? I get scared because art is something that I know nothing about so I’m afraid to look at it or talk about it.

The new (free) iPad app, (download link) by Art.com is so exciting. Finally art brought to life in a really geeky way. Art.com has a huge collection of hand-picked art which they are bringing to the iPad through artCircles.

Not So Scary Art

In the past I have been afraid to step into an art studio for fear of sounding stupid or buying the wrong piece of art. It took me a long time to realize that art is something very personal. Everyone sees and interprets art differently.

What I love the most about the is that the app itself is a piece of art. The design is so pleasing and a lot of fun to use. It makes art a TON OF FUN!!

My Kind of Art

My husband and I are fans of  Thomas McKnight prints because of the colors and he often has the ocean in his prints. With , I could go directly to the colors I like and the word oceanic to find more art that we may also like.

  • ‘Scary Art’ – that’s exactly how I would describe it from my personal experience, Michele.

I’ve always wanted to embrace art much more in my life but it’s a very intimidating field and culture to get into sometimes. I’ll download this ap and let you know what I think of it but from the video above, it looks fantastic!
