Despicable Me 2 Movie Review #DM2Orlando #Spon
While in Orlando for our Despicable Me 2 Adventure (Disclosure: trip paid for by Universal Studios. Full disclosure at the end of post), we saw the movie before it came out. We saw the 3D version and it was totally worth it!
Despicable Me 2 Trailer
Here is a quick trailer, so you get an idea of what the movie is about.
One of the reasons I loved the first Despicable Me movie is because it was good for my entire family. With 4 kids ages 9 through 17, it’s hard to find movies that the family can enjoy together. Despicable Me 2 is one of those movies. My 17-year-old enjoyed it as much as my 9-year-old did.
Softer Side of Gru
I always love a great story where the villain turns around and because nice. In Despicable Me 2, Gru has adopted the 3 girls, Margo, Agnes and Edith. The Minions return and Lucy becomes Gru’s partner when they embark on an adventure to save the world again.
The movie has romance, adventure, mishaps and family all wrapped up in this 3D movie. I enjoyed Despicable Me 2 more than the first movie. You do not need to have seen the first in order to enjoy the second movie, but it will help set up the plot if you have seen it.
I definitely recommend this movie for families and anyone who enjoys a good animated comedy adventure. The movie is rated PG.

Disclosure: All of my expenses were covered by Universal Studios for this trip. (I did buy the plane tickets for my older 2 children, but all other expenses covered.) No other compensation was received. This post is one of 2 required posts. The information and all opinions are 100% my own.
