Get Organized and Make Time for (Inter) National Scrapbooking Day (iNSD)

Time to Scrap with Across the Street

On May 1st, all the scrapbookers in the world will be ignoring all other tasks and devoting an entire day to scrapbooking. What a great way to celebrate our hobby. If you are a digital scrapbooker, this holiday means lots of chats, sales, freebies and challenges. It can get quite overwhelming, especially if this is your first National Scrapbooking Day.

Smart Scrapper’s NSD Planner & Chat

Jennifer from Simple Scrapper and Kristin from Log Your Memory have put together a Smart Scrapper’s NSD Planner and on Wednesday at 10:00 PM EST they will be giving tips on how to plan for the day. Here is a link to the invitation on Facebook. Hope to see you there.

This is at least my 5th NSD I am participating in (maybe a few more, I’ve lost count). I love this day because I completely shut the rest of the world out and I have my laptop humming with all the chats and my desktop is set up for scrapping and I spend way too much money on kits I don’t need, but must have because the deal is so good.

It also inspires me to try new techniques and scrap out of my box. I always participate in many of the challenges just for that reason.

2010 NSD Sales and More

Each year I create my own list of all the National Scrapbooking Day deals, freebies and challenges that I don’t want to miss and last year I posted that list on my blog. I am going to do the same thing again this year. You’ll be able to find my 2010 National Scrapbooking Day sales, challenges and chats list here.

Scraps of My Geek Life NSD Surprise Interview

I had the pleasure of interviewing a scrapbooking celebrity this year. I have not had the opportunity to post the interview yet and when I realized it was getting close to NSD, I figured that was the perfect day to post the interview. It’s not a long interview, but an interesting one. So check back on Saturday for that interview.

Let’s Talks! Are you planning to participate in National Scrapbooking Day? If you don’t scrapbook, does your hobby have a day of it’s own? Tell me about it.
