Suave Lavender and Vanilla Before Bed to Soothe My Soul

NOTE: I’m extending the contest because I was sick last week and wasn’t able to properly promote the contest.

My 2 favorite scents are vanilla and lavender. I find the smells so soothing and I get lots of compliments when I wear them so they must suit me too. Needless to say, I was excited (yes excited!) when I saw that Suave had mixed the two scents and offered a body wash and lotion. I have a lavender spray that I use on my son’s pillow every night. He refers to it as the “keep bad guys away spray,” but I know that it’s a calming lavender spray.

Calming Lavender

Suave has a video by Dr. Rachel Herz, a Suave Body Care Fragrance Expert about the calming effect of the lavender scent. I had “heard” that lavender was calming and I noticed it myself, but it was reassuring to hear an expert confirm it.

I traded my usual soap for the the Suave Lavender Vanilla Body Wash for my shower before bed. After my shower, I swapped my usual Suave body lotion for the Suave Lavender Vanilla Body Lotion. The lotion is not sticky at all. It goes on real smooth and I could put my PJs on right after applying the lotion (hate when I have to let my lotion dry). When I woke up the next morning, I still smelled like lavender and vanilla.

I discovered when I was at the Suave web site, there is a matching deodorant and shampoo and conditioner. I’m going to be all Lavender and Vanilla from now on. AND they also offer a 3-in-1 (shampoo, conditioner & bodywash in one) for kids in a Naturals Soothing Lavender. I’m going to get that for my kids.
