Easily Create a Digital Scrapbook with Shutterfly

Shutterfly allows you to easily create a digital scrapbook by using your digital pictures and their templates. Most of the time when I scrapbook, I create my entire pages from scratch. However, sometimes I want to create a gift album or I don’t have time to spend hours creating pages. That’s when I turn to Shutterfly.

Shutterfly Digital Scrapbook

The first time I used Shutterfly, I used their templates and dropped in the pictures from a trip my husband and I took to Miami (alone). It took me about 2 hours from beginning to end. That included decided which pictures to use, fixing them up in iPhoto, uploading and putting them into the Shutterfly templates.

Here is a short video I created to show you the Shutterfly book I created.

Shutterfly is not only for making scrapbooks, you can make so much more. A few examples are:

Holiday Cards
Thank You Cards
Birthday Party Invitations

Birthday Party Tip

A really fun idea for kid’s birthday parties is to take a picture of the guest with the birthday child and the present they brought. Create a thank you card with the picture and the guest has a great memento from the party and you remember the present each guest brought.

disclosure: I received free product in exchange for this post. I paid for the Shutterfly book that I discussed in this review. All opinions are my own.

  1. I would love to win a code. I haven't used Shutterfly, but want to make a memory book for my son's bar mitzvah. A cousin did this with Shutterfly- she left every other page blank so family and friends could write comments to the boy of honor. I'd love to create this kind of keepsake for my son.

  2. I currently use shutterfly for my prints, but would love to put together an easy album!

  3. Creating a Shutterfly scrapbook has been on my to do list for a long time! Thanks for the chance to receive a code. I just tweeted the giveaway too!

  4. I haven't used Shutterfly for creating a scrapbook, but I have created digital scrapbooks before. I love the ease and flexibility of creating digital scrapbooks, and the fact that you can create one quickly enough to send out, makes them invaluable at times.

I have created both birthday invitations, and birth announcements using digital scrapbook software, and with printing, is still cheaper, and more personal, than a store bought card.
