Project 365: Day 45

Day 45 of 365

These are the tulips that Jason bought for me a few weeks ago. They came in a huge glass vase and when he first bought them, they were only bulbs in water. You have to keep the bulbs and roots immersed in water and turn the vase every few days. They suggest you keep it near sunlight. Then you watch the bulbs blossom into beautiful tulips. I do not like getting flowers because they just die. It’s a lot of money to spend for something that dies in a few days. But these are really fun to watch and now we can plan the bulbs in our garden. Any flower that I can plant once and have it come up every year is my kind of flower. This was Valentine’s Day and they were blooming and were absolutely gorgeous. Jason captured this shot.
