It was back to reality very quickly here in DC. Sick hubby, I’m sick, kids are fighting, girls start dance camp and it feels like a sauna outside. I really miss these things…
My super duper comfy king size bed at the Palo Alto Four Seasons. I slept in the middle of the bed and no one snored, no kids kicked me, no matter where I turned I had a comfy pillow. It was THE best bed I have ever slept in. I also really liked the pictures above the bed. Looked like they took my kids paintings and framed them, and I loved it.
The separate tub and shower. Shower had really good water pressure. You almost felt like you were going to be blown against the shower wall. The tub was the perfect size for me and because there was a TV in the bathroom, I stayed in the tub way too long. It was devine.
Awesome friends at the YMotherBoard welcome cocktail party which was poolside at the Four Seasons. Had a blast catching up with old friends and getting to know new friends. J.J., Kim and I showing off our cheesiest happy smiles. Great thing was that we were so relaxed the smiles came easy.
And this was my new find…a Strawberry Ginger Mojito at NOLA. Yummy. I’m going to find a recipe for this one.
I will write more details tomorrow when I am hopefully feeling better. I am still digesting all the information from the summit.
