XFINITY Connect App Keeps Me Connected Anywhere

While being connect 24/7 isn’t always a good thing, the XFINITY Connect app gives me the luxury of leaving my office to be with my family or carpool my kids and I am sure that I will get the important phone messages.

Being able to conduct business and get my messages anywhere is really important to me. Without that, I can not work. When I discovered the XFINITY Connect app will let me access my phone messages from my iPhone, I knew it was a good thing.

The app is available for iPhone and Android phones.

It gives me the choice of checking my messages or not checking my messages. If I want to forward my XFINITY business phone to my iPhone, I can do that right from the app.

Contacts

All of my XFINITY and iPhone contacts are available from within the app and I can send and receive text messages to my XFINITY business phone line. This is a huge plus when I go to conferences and I don’t want to give out my iPhone number, but I still want to receive texts.

I am just getting started with the new XFINITY Connect app and so far, it is really helpful for me. I have not had problems running the app and I have a few thousand contacts and the app doesn’t slow down or crash.

Favorites

I like the clean look of the app and it is so easy to switch between messages and contacts and settings. I can set up Favorite contacts or create groups of contacts. From the Favorites screen, I can send an email or text to an entire group of people.

Connected At Home

This isn’t only useful for businesses, but also for personal use. You know how it is when you are waiting for the doctor to call back and you have to pick up your child from school. They always call during the 10 minutes you are away from the phone. With the XFINITY Connect app, you don’t have that problem. The app will keep you connected to all the important calls and messages.

My only suggestion is to change the timing for checking messages. The default setting checks for messages every 5 minutes and that will eat a lot of your battery (but is useful if you are expecting an important message.) I have mine set to check hourly and sometimes I change it to manually if I need my phone to be charged for a full day.
