So, did you get the username you wanted? I did and yes, I did stay up until midnight to get it. I am a geek and I had to be a part of the username grand opening at midnight. It was exciting and fun. A whole bunch of people across the globe waiting for the clock to strike midnight on the east coast so they could nab the perfect username. Yes, I know…I am a geek. I was surprised that some of my friends on Facebook that I don’t think of as being addicted to Facebook were right there with me. And there was this rush of excitement when I saw that I got my username. So, what did I go with, you might be asking now?

I debated the ScrappinMichele vs. michele.mcgraw and I finally decided that I may not always want to be known as ScrappinMichele, but I will always be Michele McGraw (bet that is good news for you, Jason, my dear husband!) When I first starting scrapbooking and looking for information about it online, I joined a few message boards and ScrappinMichele sounded like a good name and it has just sort of stuck with me. Before that I was PSMichele. Any of you who remember the Parent Soup on AOL may recognize that name. PS stood for Parent Soup. I was a moderator for the F.E.M.A.L.E./SAHM chat and message boards on Parent Soup. Everyone knew me as PSMichele so I used that for quite some time.
Leave me a link to your new Facebook username profile in the comments and be sure to follow me if you haven’t already.

I remember Parent Soup! Old school… Happy to find you, we have a lot in common.
I debated the Facebook user name too — phatmommy or shannon.entin. Chose my name for the exact same reason: might not want to be phatmommy forever.

Cool. Seems wierd that Parent Soup is old school, but it sure is. I didn't think anyone would remember that. I guess that sort of dates us. LOL!!
I was just on your site today. I love your blog design.

I got mine too, except I did mine as the same as my twitter page tlockemy, trying to keep everything consistent.

Even I remember Parent Soup. I was more involved in the teen zine scene at the time, but those were certainly golden days in their own right.

You must be a few years younger than me. I don't remember the teen zine at all. I was knee deep in diapers and Parent Soup.
