Sony VAIO YB New Computer AMDLet’s face it, buying a new computer isn’t always the easiest task. We know what we want the computer to do for us, but finding a computer that will do that and in your price range isn’t always easy. AMD has simplified the process.

AMD is changing the way we buy computers. Who do you think makes the majority of technology purchases in the family? It’s the woman. You…me…but yet most tech companies have marketed to men. AMD realizes that women are geeks too!

Buying A New Computer

With AMD’s VISION Technology, you can easily compare computers within the same VISION category. The best way to explain it is to show you. I created a video that will take you through the process of figuring out what type of computer you need and then going to the store to find it. It doesn’t have to be complicated.

Now, wasn’t that easy? Now that I know more about the different VISION Technology categories, I find that it has changed the way I look at computers. I know right away when I am at a store whether the computer is perfect for me. It gives me a better idea if the price is good.

Let’s Talk About Finding a New Computer!

Who buys the computer in your family? How often do you buy a new computer? What are your thoughts on the new computer buying process?

Disclosure: I am an AMD Mom and I receive product and conference sponsorships in exchange for my participation. All opinions are 100% my own. No other compensation was received for this post.

I was not techie when I first bought my computer but hopefully my folks were already using who were also not techies but knew about configurations. When looking for a computer we have to know which one will be perfect for us and know about the important aspects we're looking for in a computer.

That is exactly why AMD is trying to make it easier for us. All the configurations aren't as important as, "will it do what I want it to do for me?" LOL! I prefer to read whether it will process videos and pictures quickly and play a game at the same time or is it better for just surfing the internet. A slower computer isn't a bad thing if you don't need a fast processor for what you plan to do with the computer. I think sometimes sales people try to over sell us and many people feel like they don't know much about computer language so they trust the salesperson. I think making it easier for everyone to understand will make more people happy. They won't be oversold or undersold!

Hey, I hopped over to this webpage from stumbleupon. It is not blog post I would regularly read, but I loved your spin on it. Thank you for making something worth reading!
