My favorite musical of all time is The Phantom of the Opera. Not only is my son’s school doing The Phantom of the Opera for their spring musical this year, but tomorrow, The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall [Blu-ray]
is being released in DVD. I’m so excited for both!!
I am going to celebrate the month of romance with a small intimate Phantom of the Opera viewing party. Universal Studios is sending me The Phantom of the Opera party pack including masks, tealights and a candle holder.
To set the mood, I will serve champagne with raspberries and chocolate by candlelight. I downloaded music from The Phantom of the Opera on iTunes and I will play that as we get ready to watch the movie.
The release of The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall is a collaboration with composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and producer Cameron Mackintosh to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera on October 2, 2011. This show was beamed live via satellite to cinemas across the globe and is the first time a live performance of The Phantom of the Opera is being released for watching at home.
