Do you have a really hard time finding the perfect purse? I do!! Usually, when I find a purse, I end up keeping it until it is falling apart because I really hate looking for a new one. I hate wallets, so I have to find a purse that has the built in wallet and will fit a lot of stuff in it, yet is smaller than a suitcase. Which is a really hard task.
I was watching someone’s review (I can’t find it again, so if anyone knows who did the review, leave me a comment, please) of their shopping trip to TJ Maxx for some BlogHer necessities. She was looking for a bag to carry her laptop around in and found a few of them that looked a lot like purses to me and BAM, it hit me. That is what I need. A laptop bag as my purse. I carry around so many gadgets – iPhone, Video Camera, iPod and sometimes a 2nd bag for my laptop.
I stopped at TJ Max last weekend and found this purse laptop bag.This is the outside. It has 2 smaller pockets for the things you need often like chapstick, comb, pen, hand sanitizer, hair things, etc. I wish it had come in a brownish color, but it was either black or this ugly maroon. And the best part? It was only $20.
This is the inside of one of those outside pockets. Just the perfect size.
And the inside of the main part. It has a lot of little pockets for pens, business cards, etc and a huge zippered part for some essentials that are a tad larger.
And last, but definitely not least….a spot for my laptop. I spend a lot of time driving kids around and waiting for lessons to be done and if I could easily carry my laptop with me, maybe, just maybe I’ll get something done.
I’m really excited about this purse/laptop bag. Perfect for any geek with a lot to carry around. I’ll keep you posted on how well it works out for me.

I carry a regular purse of medium size, but it weighs a ton…. can't they start making all of our gadgets lighter weight… no room for the laptop , but I use my laptop bag as a purse when I travel… =)

That’s cool! I prefer something smaller and lighter. I travel a lot so it is necessary to organize my things so that I maximize space and weight.
