Celebrating Disney's Mars Needs Moms Opening

Disney’s Mars Needs Moms movie comes out this Friday (March 11, 2011). My kids have been waiting for this movie for months. My younger son turns 8 on Sunday, so for his birthday we are taking a few kids to see Mars Needs Moms (Fandango).

Mars Needs Moms is about Milo (Seth Green), a 9 year old boy who finds out how much he needs his mom (Joan Cusack) when she is taken by Martians who plan to steal her Mom-ness and give it to their own children. Milo goes on a wild adventure to save his mom and gets help form a tech savvy earthling and a Martian girl.

Disney Digital 3D

Mars Needs Moms is shown in Disney Digital 3D™ and IMAX® 3D. I can not wait to take the kids to see this movie. If you have not seen a movie in the Disney Digital 3D, you have to see it. It is nothing like the old 3D movies with the cardboard red/blue glasses. The glasses are comfortable and the 3D is so real. The old 3D made me feel sick to my stomach, but the new Disney Digital 3D doesn’t do that to me.
