How do you PINK?

I have been very lucky that I do not know any­one close to me who has died of breast can­cer. I do know of sev­eral woman who have had breast can­cer and beat it.

Now that I am 42, I am sup­posed to get a mam­mo­gram, but for some rea­son I have been putting it off. The year I turned 40 was when I had my hys­terec­tomy, so I used that as an excuse. Now, i’m not sure why I haven’t gone. But this month with all of the aware­ness of breast can­cer, it has reminded me that I need to JUST DO IT.

So, why is it that we, women put this stuff off? Are we afraid of what we’ll find out? Are we too busy? I do know that I’m going to feel much worse if I finally go, they find some­thing and I could have done some­thing sooner. So, I need to just DO IT.
