In honor of Earth Day today, I wanted to share a really cool new app for iPhone and iPad. HarperCollins UK releasedFragile Earth, which shows many of the transformations the earth has made due to both man-made and natural disasters.
Fragile Earth Visuals
The images on this app are amazing and makes it very easy to see the changes the earth has gone through by showing you before and after pictures. This app would be a great classroom tool because it’s so visual.

From the Fragile Earth press release:
We set out to create an app that would convey the innate and delicate beauty of the world’s landscape, while highlighting the dramatic shifts that are taking place across the globe,” said Jethro Lennox, Head of Publishing for Collins Geo, a division of HarperCollins UK.
