This has been an amazing few days. We left on my (cough cough) 42nd birthday to head to Ocean City, MD for 4 days. It is our last trip to the beach before the school year starts in 1 week.
As I write this, I am sitting on my balcony in the hotel, watching the waves crash against the shore and listening to the ocean. The moon is almost full and lights up the sky just enough to see all the clouds. The pool just closed so I no longer hear the screaming kids and parents and the lifeguard’s constant whistle blowing at the kids. It is so peaceful.
I never realized how much I loved the ocean until this past December. Things were crazy and Jason and I headed to Miami Beach for a quick trip (business for him and pleasure for me). As soon as I saw the beach, it was like all my worries were lifted from my shoulders. That is how I feel whenever I go to the beach. It’s my escape place and where I go in my head when I need to de-stress.
I’ll upload all my pictures and videos when I get back, but here I’ve been whrrling my entire trip, so you can see those here:

The beach looks so different on the East Coast… I've never been. You're wearing jackets tho! It's 112 here in Phoenix today… I'd love to be on that balcony with you!
Amazing! Enjoy it, every minute!
