Virtual Makeover? Yes! I attended an online eyes lips face (e.l.f.) MUAH party (by SheSpeaks) with @GetRealSarah on her Get Real MomTV show today. Now, if that isn’t the way a geek attends a party, I don’t know what is. LOL! e.l.f. makeup is now available at Target and I went nuts when I saw all that was available and the prices were outstanding. Around $1 -3 for most.

Here is a video of me after my makeover:
I have wanted to try the e.l.f. minerals makeup so I went to the e.l.f. online store and bought $60 worth of products. Once I get the order and try it all out (with Jen’s help), I’ll do another video with before and after shots.
disclosure: I won the large e.l.f. kit and received some of the make-up at BlogHer in Chicago. I also purchased some of it at Target. I was NOT paid to do this post. I did it because I love the product and the final result I got.
I love this machine. It’s so beautiful and BIG and FAST and oh…words just can not describe how I feel about this….
The one on the left is my BIG 27″ i7 iMac and the one on the right is my old 24″ iMac. Big difference in size and power. I love Apple!
Happy Thanksgiving to all my family and friends. I am thankful for so much today.
I have a wonderful husband, Jason who supports everything I do
I have 4 beautiful and healthy children
I have an extended family that we can count on at any time and supports all that we do
I have a wonderful community of friends IRL
I have food on my table, a roof over my head, clothes on our bodies and all the gadgets we could ever want or need
I am particularly thankful this year for my friends who are with me almost all the time (or at least it feels that way because they are just a Skype chat away). There wasn’t a way for me to add all 8 of us in one jibjab movie, so I did 2 movies and mashed them together.
Happy Thanksgiving to Jen, Cheryl, Fiona, Kelly, Karrie, Jen B & Carissa!
Danielle Smith of Extraordinary Mommy, has another fabulous video that she put together. Go over to her and check it out.
I haven’t done a formal update since I started the 6 week challenge on November 20th. In case you didn’t know, I am part of the EA Sports Active More Workouts 6 Week Challenge. There are 12 Challengers and we started on November 20th and will finish on December 31st.
You can check out my 411 at the EA Sports Active website and the article I wrote for cafemom about how EA Sports Active helped my family learn to be healthier.
I am much better at showing you how excited I am about this, so here was the first vlog I did on Day 1:
I wasn’t going to do a second video right away, but I was so excited, so I did this one:
Yes, I really did that!!! So, unlike me. Day 3 was a killer. It was a lot of arms and an abs workout where you raise both of your legs up in the air. I am still sore today and today was my day of rest. I know that this challenge is really working because I wake up sore every morning so I’m working muscles that I haven’t worked in a long time. It’s a really good hurt.
For Thanksgiving I am all prepared to do my workouts all week and I plan to do an extra workout on Thursday before dinner. I do plan to eat my dinner and have dessert and I’m not going to worry about the calories or fat. I will do an extra workout and probably run twice this weekend.
